Engage Abilities is a Registered Service Provider of the NDIS and provides services to the NSW Department of Communities & Justice through their Casework Support Scheme. Our team of highly experienced staff aims to provide our participants with quality services that reflect their needs and promote their dignity, wellbeing, abilities and independence. We are looking to appoint **1 Supported Independent Living Manager (SIL)**
Roles involves;
- Leading a team of Support Workers and ensuring they understand, embrace, and work toward achieving Engage Abilities’ missions and values.
- Rostering Support Workers and rostering data entry.
- Weekly and Monthly networking with our Department Leaders.
- Ensuring Support Workers are reporting accurate Case Notes.
- Engaging regularly with participants, their families, and all other stakeholders involved in the delivery of supports for the participant, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and service delivery.
- Managing risks including compliance with relevant policies, NDIS legislative requirements, Work Health and Safety, and financial risks.
- Managing the participants’ budget during their annual NDIS plan to ensure continuity of supports over the year and maintaining accurate participant records.
- Conducting House Leader meetings.
We are looking for committed and passionate individual who:
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside computing skills.
- Has an above average proficiency in the English language.
- Has the ability to build strong and trusting rapport with adults, children and young people.
- Must have own car and prepared to travel within Sydney Metro.
- Able to proactively assess risks and solve problems.
- Has excellent professional boundaries and mentoring skills.
- Be a positive role model.
- Is resilient and flexible in your approach.
- Has the ability to work in high stress situations.
- Has the ability to work within a team environment and independently.
- 3 years + in similar role

**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $94,000.00 per year
