Job Description">

As a day activity assistant, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to clients who require help with everyday tasks and activities. This may include transporting clients to social events, assisting with meal preparation and serving, and participating in activities such as outings and craft sessions.

The aim of our service is to enable older people to live independently in their own homes, achieving their personal goals and enjoying their golden years. Our volunteers play a crucial role in helping us achieve this goal.

We have volunteer opportunities available in the Elderslie and Tahmoor areas. If you are interested in volunteering, please review the opportunity details carefully to ensure the role is suitable for you.

">Required Skills and Qualifications">

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also need to be physically fit and able to perform tasks that may involve lifting or bending.

A first aid certificate is also required for this role.
