
Independent Physiotherapy Consultant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated independent physiotherapist contractor to join our team in making a positive impact in our community.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with NDIS participants in Campbelltown and possess the skills and qualifications required for this role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist looking to align their clinical preferences and work close to home, while also contributing to the growth and development of our team.
About the RoleAs a physiotherapist contractor with Ability Action Australia, you will be responsible for assessing participants' physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
You will interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant and provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life.
Your daily responsibilities will include supporting and advising on adaptations to the environment, including home, school, work, and residential facilities, as well as recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence.
You will also be responsible for managing your own schedule, which provides flexibility and autonomy in your work.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess participants' physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
- Support and advise on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work, and residential facilities
- Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as Physiotherapist
- Experience working with NDIS participants
- Relevant insurance including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Active Australian Business Number (ABN)
