This role exists to support the implementation of an integrated injury management strategy at a site level. The role will help the site teams in achieving continuous improvement with their Injury Management and Workers Compensation performance. WOWpeople are great people. If you’re the sort of individual who takes accountability and strives to always do the right thing for each other, our communities, our customers, and our business then we ought to connect. **About the role** Reporting into the Regional Injury Manager, the Injury Lead position exists to support the focus on early return to work and appropriate support for injured team members. Your duties will include: - Developing and maintaining a business culture which supports the proactive management of work and non-work injuries, illnesses or conditions - Implementing workers’ compensation policies and procedures in accordance with the relevant legislation - Managing the site’s early intervention program and workers compensation claims - Develop and coordinate return to work plans, rehabilitation plans and liaise with treatment providers to promote recovery - Prepare monthly analysis on claims, reporting on themes and trends in the portfolio - Maintain a strong and professional relationship with key stakeholders working with them as the main point of contact **About You** As the Injury Lead you will play a valuable role in the Primary Connect team where you will be rewarded with a competitive salary package and the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally in a supportive team environment. At Primary Connect, safety is a core value - With 1Life being our Safety movement within Primary Connect, that are non-negotiable principles which help everyone safeguard their one life" To be successful you will demonstrate significant experience in a similar position or possess extensive operations and leadership experience as well as: - Knowledge of injury management concepts, claims management procedures and relevant legislative requirements in the area of your control - Ability to decipher medical reports and identify potential common law risk mitigation strategies - Ability to interpret legislation relating to workers' compensation administration or willing to learn - Ability to manage confidential information and situations in a sensitive manner - Demonstrated experience in RTW or injury management - Current certified Return to Work Certificate (desirable) - Current Australian driver's licence **Grow with the Group As an inclusive, team-first company, our people are at the core of everything we do.
