Residential Aged Care Workers

Our partner, a well-established Residential Aged Care home across Queensland, is seeking to employ a number of new Personal Care attendants to join their established teams. We are seeking individuals who show a passion for caring for the elderly, and have clear communication skills and empathy.
We offer a wide range of support, including training in Infection Control, on-the-job mentoring, and support.
**You**:
Must show empathy and want to care for the elderly. We are seeking those with a great attitude to care, support and care for our residents to the highest level.
Will hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, ability to work a minimum of consistent days a week (same days and times each week), prepared to learn and continue to build on your current skills.
We have numerous homes across the region, you will be selected to work in one (1) home only. Ideally with the shortest travel time from your home, or which suits what you are after most.
Clear communication skills are a must, in reading, writing, and verbal skills.
Must be able to pass a National Police Check, and be prepared to undertake training and induction prior to commencing work in the facility.
You will be working as part of a larger team, be offered initial infection training (prior to commencement) and ongoing support and training.
**Shifts**:
Shifts are available Monday to Sunday, 365 days a year. Various shifts are available across the day, main shifts fall into:
- AM Shift 6:00am - 2:00pm
- PM Shift 2:00pm - 9:00pm
- Night shift 9:00pm - 6:00am
Key to being successful in this is an attitude, an understanding that your working environment is the client's home, the ability to follow strict company policies and processes, and want to work within a team environment.
On-the-job training will be supplied for those with limited experience, along with additional support and training as you progress with your career.
