Women & Children First is a not-for-profit organisation supporting women and children escaping domestic abuse in addition to providing parenting support to the community. Services include crisis accommodation, counselling, legal advice clinics, advocacy, a range of family support programs and short-term housing across the Northern Beaches and the North Shore of Sydney.

Reporting to the CEO, this part time role will provide you with the opportunity to create and implement a robust, strategic, long term fundraising plan for the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Identify and review fundraising opportunities from existing and new supporters.
- Attend industry and community events to cultivate corporate sponsors.
- Identify future sources of funding and develop fundraising timeline and schedules.
- Provide reports to the CEO on fundraising activities.
- Build, maintain, and manage key external relationships as a brand ambassador.
- Implement and manage a new CRM database.

As a passionate and experienced Fundraising and Engagement Specialist, you will work closely with the CEO to create sustainable fundraising strategies that will attract funds to the brand via multiple channels. It is expected that you will have solid demonstrated experience in a previous fundraising role within a NFP environment having run fundraising campaigns as well as donor retention programs. You will have highly developed interpersonal skills with the commercial acumen to design and execute direct marketing initiatives.
