**About the role**
The Sport and leisure Project Office plays a key role in supporting the planning, delivery and reporting of sport and leisure related capital works projects. Sitting in Council's Sport and Leisure team, the role will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects.

This is a part time permanent role (18.4 hours per week) based at Knox Civic Centre. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.

This is a Band 5 classified role. Remuneration will be $78,036.84 to $90,793.94 (depending on experience) (pro-rata for part time) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

**What you will bring to this role**

The key selection criteria for this role are:

- Experience in project management, preferably relating to community sports infrastructure projects.
- Experience in liaising effectively with sport, leisure and recreation groups and the community.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships, provide exemplary customer service and achieve results with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skills in organisational and time management with the ability to prioritise and plan workload ahead of time.
- High level of proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to a team environment and gain the cooperation and assistance of others when required.
- Experience in working with leisure organisations and volunteer committees, including the capacity to reach compromise and negotiated solutions.
