**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a Technical Trade Trainer (Electrical) to join our team in Osborne SA. As our Technical Trade Trainer, you will deliver and develop technical trade training for our Electrical Apprentices and Electrical Tradespeople.

**Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Technical Training Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of approved training in accordance and required standards of ASC, developing training packages & training aids within the ASC requirements, accurate assessing and reporting on Apprentices & Trade skills development, and conducting skills matrix assessments.

**About you**

To be successful as a Technical Trade Trainer at ASC you will have:

- Electrical Trade Cert 3.
- Unrestricted Electrical Worker's License.
- TAE (currently TAE40116 Cert IV).
- Minimum 10 years trade experience.
- Passion for learning, motivating, supporting, and influencing others.
- Good computer literacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supervising training groups and individuals including apprentices.
- Strong teamwork attributes with ability to help motivate, influence and support others.
- Must be able to hold an NV1 Security Clearance.
- Experience in Defence Industry/Shipbuilding Industry is highly desirable.

**Eligibility**

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
