Local Government authority in the northern suburbs | Part-time. 2-3 days per week | $35 - $40 per hour + super

- **Reporting into the Senior Lead, Organisational Capability, sitting in the People & Culture Department**
**About the company**
A local government based in the northern suburbs are seeking a learning and development administration officer to join their people and culture team. You will be reporting directly to the Senior Lead, Organisational Capability.
This role is part-time, either working 2 or 3 days per week and is initially contracted for 3 months and could lead to longer-term opportunities.
**Your key responsibilities include**:
- Ensure all training attendance is recorded in the Council’s HR Information System (CHRIS21) and staff personal files on TRIM (Content Manager)
- Provide other administration support to the people and culture department
- Assist with the implementation of WHS policies, procedures, guidelines, work instructions and Control Plans
- Consult with employees on WHS issues and support Health & Safety Representatives in their duties and/or requests
- Project work as required
**You will have the following experience**:
- Demonstrated administration experience, preferably in a learning and development and/or Local Government environment
- Proven ability to prioritise own workload, whilst balancing competing tasks with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, in particular Excel, record management systems and HR Information Systems, preferably CHRIS21
- Proven ability to maintain professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
- Experience in working both independently and in a team environment
- Well developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
