**The role**

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers-Residential worker for casual shifts, including sleepovers, in
**Maffra, Sale, Strathdale and surrounding suburbs**. Your primary responsibility as a
**Disability Support Worker** is providing support for those in a
**Residential Group Home setting. **Responsibilities involve manual handling, community access, transportation, personal care and companionship. This role is perfect for someone with a
**person-**
**centered** approach, who is energetic and excited to
**make a **difference in people’s lives and is passionate
***about the work they do.

**Eligibility criteria**:

- Minimum of 6 months** paid experience **in Disability, preferably within a Residential Group home setting
- A **relevant qualification **in Disability/Individual Support or higher Diploma qualification in Community Services
- Two relevant, professional and **industry related reference checks**.
- Must be willing to provide or obtain a Victorian **Working with Children’s Check **for employment purposes.
- MUST be willing to provide or obtain a **NDIS worker screening check**:

- Have a current or be willing to obtain a **First Aid and CPR certificate**:

- Manual Handling Certificate
- Mandatory experience in Mental Health and Midazolam
