Our client is a Global Software Vendor in the Health Industry, with offices in Ryde. With over 1,000 employees across the globe, their goal is to create a healthier and safer society. With a recently secured government contract, they're growing locally and are offering a great opportunity to join a high performing team.
About the role
As a Contract Manager you will join a regional team and take ownership of the end-to-end contracting process in Australia.
Working closely with the Sales, Deployment and Support departments, you will bring your expertise to negotiate and manage complex IT Services contracts with customers and suppliers in a high availability environment.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
Build a strong understanding of the company's products/solutions/services in a complex IT environment Negotiate all contracts ensuring they are in the best interest of the company both commercially and legally Identify risks and suggest mitigation Maintain an excellent understanding of different types of contracts and change notices Liaise with legal team, seeking opinion and guidance where necessary Ensure that full documentation and audit trail is maintained as per process Negotiate at a high strategic level with decision makers Input in processes improvements
Skills & experience
Previous experience working as a Contract Manager in medium to large organisations Previous experience negotiating complex IT Services contract highly desirable Strong experience with end-to-end contract management process, legislation and contractual rules Previous experience working in the Health Industry a plus Good workload management and prioritisation to ensure all deadlines are met Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with stakeholders at high level Good ability to adapt to changing circumstances and great problem solving skills A Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics or equivalent (mandatory) Excellent written and oral communication skills
