The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Facilitator (Orthopaedic Inpatient Unit) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Be highly motivated, inclusive and team focused to balance demands and deliver health care excellence
- Display and maintain expert levels of clinical knowledge and skill
- Acts as a leader in adapting and modifying plans in atypical situations to optimise patient care
- Lead and be responsible for the provision of education to unit nursing staff

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough) and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent Full Time
- Base salary ranging from $104,816 - $112,236 per annum

About Us
C6West is a 28 bed Orthopaedic Inpatient Unit providing care to scheduled and unscheduled orthpaedic patients. C6West works collaboratively with other units within the facility, including the Emergency Department, Operating Theatres, Trauma Service, Intensive Care Unit and the existing Surgical IPUs. There is a strong focus on a multidisciplinary team approach to delivering the highest of standards in evidence-based, patient centred care to support patient flow and meet the healthcare demands of the community. The aim of the Orthopaedic IPU is to provide collaborative, expert Orthopaedic healthcare for individual patients to achieve optimal outcomes.
