Our firm is looking for a marketing assistant, initially for a four month term, but with a successful fit rolling into a permanent position. Working closely with the principal of the firm, you will have the support of a team that understands the importance of marketing, and which gives it the focus it needs. We have invested heavily into our communications and content to ensure that you are not scrambling to find information or running to unrealistic deadlines. We generally have our content planned a year in advance.

Primarily the role is coordinating the relationship between our external SEO, internal content writer, assisting and managing socials and in bound communications with capture client engagements. We are in the process of moving from Co-Schedule to Hubspot, so you will need some experience in Hubspot in particular.

Our primary websites are built on Wordpress with DiviBuilder backend. Content is being post daily and the library of resources is substantial. Whilst not a core component it would be helpful if you understand the platform and can make minor changes as needed.

Strong communication skills are key to the role. An ability to work autonomously is critical and a willingness to speak up is important. Strong social media skills is a must, as well as an ability to interact with our third party suppliers (SEO, subscription websites, content suppliers and media firms).

The position is completely work from home, although we have regular catch ups at Newstead that are more social than required. We have 3 virtual offices in Brisbane and 3 physical offices in country NSW. There is no need to travel to any of these sites. The role is completely flexible with the exception of a weekly marketing meeting, the timing for this is negotiable.
