**Position Overview**:
Home Support Workers help our clients with:

- Personal care such as showering, grooming, or assistance with dressing.
- Social support with companionship or attending to the community for appointments or recreational activities.
- Capacity-building activities to assist with learning new skills or increasing independence.
- Domestic assistance such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, or light household cleaning and assistance.

**Requirements**:
**Home Support Workers are required to have**:

- National Police Check (Less than a year old if not NDIS Worker Screening Check).
- Driver’s License.
- ** Comprehensively insured, registered, and well-maintained car.**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar discipline.
- (Aged Care, Disability, Home and Community Care, Personal Assistance).
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications. NDIS Worker Screening Check or Working with Children Check is advantageous.

**Remuneration**:
Good Works for Australia pays SCHADS award wages with the addition of generous bonuses pro rate to the jobs attended.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks referred to in the position overview.
- Alignment with GWA values.
- Ability to meet compliance and qualification criteria referred to in requirements.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Availability to work at least three days a week.
- Registered, road-worthy and insured vehicle.

- Outcome of the interview - If successful, you will be notified, and there will be an induction to complete before commencing as well as other related paperwork required along the way.
