**About the role**

**Duties**
- Execute the hole plan.
- Drill accurately and diligently to maximise ‘Bit on Bottom’.
- Minimise breakage and down hole loss.
- Carry out basic preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment and down hole equipment / BHA.
- Plan, schedule and organise own work within the requirements of the work plan, and coordinate with other parties as required.
- Ensure thorough and meticulous completion of all drilling records and documentation.
- Efficiently record and manage movement in and out of drilling consumables and spares.
- Ensure that rigs and equipment are maintained to a serviceable condition.

**Experience & qualifications**
- Current Australian HR License is mandatory
- Demonstrated experience in Diamond Coring (Coal)
- Desirable experience in Mud Rotary (Coal)
- Experience on Large Diameter projects is desirable
- Certificate III Drilling in Operations or greater is mandatory
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessment
