**Your Role at Nextt**
At Nextt, our disability support workers are directly responsible for organising and implementing daily activities for our clients, including personal care, domestic assistance and community access.
- We currently have a Vacancy in the _**Alexandra Hills**_ _Region of Brisbane in our SIL (Supported Independent Living) for a _**Female Disability Support Worker.**_

**Casual position - **30 hours + 3x sleepovers

**Week 1**:

- Thursday 12:00PM to 17:00PM
- Saturday 1700 PM to 2200 PM (sleepover)
- Sunday 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM

**Week 2**:

- Monday 1700 PM to 2200 PM (sleepover)
- Tuesday 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM
- Saturday 1600 PM to 2200 PM (sleepover)
- Sunday 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM

**About you**
As a support worker, you will be tasked with supporting our clients with the following activities:

- Personal Care
- Domestic assistance
- Community Access

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Experience in Mental Health Disability Support Work
- Working with persons with a Positive Behavior Support Plan Challenging Behaviors highly regarded

**The Duties and Responsibilities**:

- General domestic duties
- Supporting and encouraging to reach client goals and achieve positive outcomes
- Mediation administration assistance
- Own car and able to use car for transport for appointments, shopping and general outings in the community
- Work closely with your managers to assure you are appropriately supporting your client / open communication and driven to work with a team of others to assist in achieving positive outcomes for the client
- Client resides on his own and is supported 1:1
- Training is provided in the clients Positive Behavior Support Plan - and all relevant compliance training/module inductions

**Your Certificates and Licences**
- NDIS workers screening check / yellow card
- Working with children check / blue card
- First aid and CPR certificate
- Australian drivers licence and your own fully insured vehicle

**Employees will be required to abide by all mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.**

**Job Types**: Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: From $32.73 per hour
