**Purpose of role**
- **Main duties and responsibilities**_
- The Bar Supervisor will be responsible for managing Borsch, Vodka &
Tears evening front of house operations.
- **Core objectives include**_:_
- Provide leadership in the development and delivery of Borsch, Vodka & Tears drink service
- Training of new and existing staff members in bar operations
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability
- Maintain quality standards in all drink service
- Ensure all orders are put through the point of sales system so that stock is correctly recorded
- Do not provide any drink, except for coffee, tea and soft drink to anyone without a ticket from the point of sales system
- Ensure customer bills are paid
- Assist in running drinks and/or food when the floor staff are busy with other customers.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to all customers.
- Communicate any stock shortages to manager taking on ordering duties
- Provide ideas for drinks specials using specified stock and stock amounts.
- Provide monthly training to specified staff on monthly topics that will be determined in the preceding monthly management meeting.
- The Front of House Manager will determine when Bar Staff are to take breaks, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.
- Taking breaks in the bar should be a collective decision between the bar supervisor and FOH Manager
- Monthly meetings with General Manager to review whether KPI targets for the month have been met as per employment contract.
- The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.
- Other duties_
- Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.
- Experience : _Minimum two years' experience in a bar with cocktail making experience
- Knowledge : _Knowledge of operating POS systems including back end programming.
