Team Leader

**Duties include**
- Project Planning and Execution:

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate project activities, allocate tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Manage project risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate critical matters when necessary.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, requirements, and expectations.
- Monitor project budgets, control project costs, and report on financial performance.
- Team Leadership and Management:

- Lead and inspire a team of project professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Assign responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Support team members in their professional development and provide training opportunities as needed.
- Stakeholder Engagement:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
- Communicate project status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Address stakeholder concerns and proactively manage expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for stakeholder engagement and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:

- Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures throughout project execution.
- Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement.
- Drive process optimization and efficiency enhancements to enhance project outcomes.

**About you**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are highly desirable
- Proficiency in Smartsheets, Power automate and Microsoft suite word/power point/excel + pivot tables
