Warehouse Operator

Due to growth within our company, we are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operators to join our Riverstone depot.

This role is a **Full Time with the shift commencing at 2:30pm, Monday to Friday **with the possibility for occasional weekend work.

**The role**:

- Unload and load trucks as they come into the depot
- Identify any stock that has arrived damaged or on damaged pallets and report to leading hand
- Operate a shunt truck to hook trailers on and off in the yard
- Move trailers on and off docks using the shunt truck
- General Truck Yard duties
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
- Work closely with the drivers to identify any potential fatigue issues
- Keep an eye on all temperatures of fridges/freezers within the depots

**This role has the potential to move into a Leading Hand Role which will include additional responsibilities such as**:

- Manage Warehouse Operators on shift at the time
- Coordinate stock that comes in and out of the Warehouse
- Training of all new staff as well as upkeep on annual training required
- Other Leading Hand Duties

**About You**:
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Warehouse Environment. Ideally you will also have experience operating a shunt truck hooking trailers on and off and moving them onto the warehouse docks. You will be able to work autonomously in your role as well as apart of a team. You will understand how to prioritise tasks and have a customer focus within your role.

**To be considered for this role you must**:

- Hold a current Forklift Licence
- Experience operating a Tine Fork Lift
- Ability to multi task and prioritise
- Have effective time management skills
- Able to work independently
- Able to work well under pressure
- Willing to Abide by the Company’s COVID19 Safe work plan

**Preferred but not Essential**:

- Previous experience in refrigerated transport
- Experience using a Shunt truck
- Previous experience within the Transport Industry

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
