- You will be a positive brand ambassador for the Sutherland Shire Council providing efficient and effective attention, investigation and resolution of Customer Requests.
- You will provide environmental protection, road’s and traffic compliance, community law enforcement, public safety and animal control.
- You will investigate activities ranging from the unlawful transportation of waste, heavy vehicle and light traffic thoroughfares, abandoned vehicles, illegal parking, overgrown vegetation and unhealthy premises, illegal advertising, motor vehicle complaints, dog attacks, dangerous or menacing dogs, dogs off leash, after hour’s construction etc.
- You will develop and maintain close working relationships with the Local Police, Precinct Committees, other Government Departments and other special groups as needed.

Things You’ll **Do**:

- You will have exceptional customer service, communication, negotiation and conflict management capability. You will seek to educate our community members and promote sharing and appropriate use of our resources.
- You will investigate and where necessary, gather evidence, conduct interviews, issue penalty notices and prepare and present reports as required.
- You will, as required, instigate legal proceedings, prepare briefs of evidence and represent Council in Court.

The **Fine** Print:

- **Package**:$74,693 - $91,830 gross p.a. plus superannuation (plus weekend penalty rates as worked)
- **Hours of work**:38 hours per week, 7 day spread and 9 day fortnight. Monday - Sunday 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. One weekend on, one weekend off.
