We’re on the hunt for an experienced and innovative Executive Digital Producer to join our Factual & Drama vertical based in either Sydney or Melbourne here at liSTNR.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, creating, and producing engaging content that captivates our target audiences within the LiSTNR Factual and Drama Content vertical.
Collaborating closely with Factual and Drama Producers, as well as external stakeholders, you will produce compelling social and video content that aligns with our Factual & Drama content slate, with a specific focus on the Crime genre. Your main objective will be to generate fresh and inventive ideas and produce content that not only resonate with our existing audiences but also attract new ones to our digital channels, including online, mobile, video, and social media platforms.
As the Executive Digital Producer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all online content adheres to the highest ethical and legal standards. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance and ensuring the content is in line with relevant regulations and guidelines.
**Please note that as this role will work within content in the Crime and investigative journalism space, that this role will involve dealing with sensitive, graphic and emotionally challenging content.**
**Experience we’re looking for**:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in producing digital content for either podcasts, radio, television, newspaper or digital media companies
- Advanced knowledge of best practice cross-media production techniques including new media usability principals and deliver content to correct specifications
- Ability to produce, write, edit and post produce audio visual, graphic and text content for digital channels
- Experience in managing and leading creative teams.
- Desired experience in using industry standard audio and or video editing tools including audio editing software (Adobe Audition) and Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Intermediate legal understanding of defamation, contempt and copyright issues
- Experience in web publishing including using Photoshop and HTML is desirable.
- Understanding of all web based tools and experience using content management systems (CMS)
- Demonstrable experience of growing engaged audiences across digital platforms
