**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel business in our Human Resources team as a **People Business Partner**. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.

People are our strength, and in this exciting role, you will play an integral part in supporting the Orrcon Steel business to achieve and enhance its strategic outcomes through its people - resulting in a high performing culture and engaged workforce. This role will provide HR services for our O’Sullivan Beach Mill and our Gillman office (Orrcon Distribution).

Ideally based out of our O’Sullivan Beach branch, this opportunity includes a competitive remuneration package including our profit share program (annual bonus). **What Will You Do?**

As a trusted Business Partner, you will:

- contribute to the design, implementation and execution of the Orrcon Steel People Plan
- work with leaders to develop and implement strategies for workplace change to deliver improved business outcomes
- support and coach line leaders to effectively manage all people matters, including culture, talent and succession, development, workforce planning, performance, recruitment and onboarding activities, and disciplinary processes.
- assist, guide and coach leaders to develop a high performing culture
- support line managers in establishing efficient and cost-effective people and business solutions

- proven ability to manage ER and IR matters, including Enterprise Agreement negotiations
