**About Us**

Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
The position works closely with the Director Prevocational Education and Training (DPET) and is responsible for day-to-day human resource and rostering activities for JMOs. The position has responsibility for the credentialing process for JMO and SMO locums in a professional and timely manner and coordinate orientation and onboarding processes of locums to the relevant clinical teams. This position has a professional reporting line to the District Medical Workforce Manager.

**What you will bring to the role**
- Tertiary Qualifications or experience in health or human resources management, including industrial relations, recruitment, performance management and change management.
- Possess knowledge, experience and understanding of Medical Allocations and other staffing procedures including rostering and compliance with other recruitment and credentialing requirements including professional registration, with specific analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in liaison and negotiation with senior and junior medical officers
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Medical Officers Awards or understanding and the ability to interpret Awards and employment conditions.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of accreditation standards set by the HETI for the training of junior medical staff in NSW or the ability to quickly learn these.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team, ability to work without supervision and ability to lead and manage a team under pressure and with competing priorities.
- Commitment to provision of high level customer service to clients and demonstrated ability to work with people at all levels within the organisation.
- High level verbal and written communication, facilitation and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
