**Job Summary**:
As a Site Foreman/Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in our continued growth and success. This multifaceted position will involve supervising on-site activities while occasionally being hands-on when required. You will report directly to our company directors, who will provide the guidance and support needed to excel in your role. Black Developments operates across Brisbane, surrounding suburbs, and Northern NSW, offering a diverse range of exciting projects.

**Responsibilities**:
In this key role, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Supervision: Oversee on-site activities, ensuring precise execution and adherence to our commitment to excellence.
- Hands-on involvement: Utilise your hands-on skills as needed to contribute to the successful completion of projects.
- Safety Focus: Uphold all safety standards and protocols, prioritising the well-being of all on-site personnel - internal and external contractors. Have a strong understating of Workplace Health and Safety Standards.
- Efficient Management: Ensure efficient management of resources, materials, and project timelines and ensure the project is running as per the schedule and with high-quality control. Ensure up-to-date knowledge of building standards is a must.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to company directors on project progress and milestones.
- Site Management: Including the above, coordinate suppliers and contractors on site, deliveries of materials,
**Knowledge, skills and attributes**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Qualification: Qualified trade certificate (essential)
- Computer Literacy: Intermediate computer literacy and proficient with Microsoft Office suite and project managing software will be beneficial but not essential.
- Construction Expertise: Extensive experience in architectural construction, showcasing your ability to deliver outstanding results.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, guiding the team to achieve project success.
- Hands-on Approach: Willingness to be hands-on when required to contribute to project execution.
- Safety Commitment: Deep understanding of Workplace Health and Safety Standards, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Versatility: Ability to adapt to various project requirements and take on diverse responsibilities.
- Australian Citizen and unrestricted driver’s license.
- A good attitude to thrive in a fast passed yet rewarding environment.
