**Our Opportunity**

NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation have an amazing opportunity for an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to start their career with our workshop team based in Narellan, NSW

Your daily duties include, however, are not limited to;
- Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
- Compile bills of materials for overhauled and refurbished components
- Overhaul and assembly of materials handling components ranging from structural assembly to gearboxes, mechanical drive assembly and hydraulic fault finding and repair
- Operate manufacturing machinery and tools, including forklifts and overhead cranes
- General fitting and machining where required
- Undertake general housekeeping duties
- Adhere to Work Health and Safety policies and procedures

This is opportunity will allow you to be paid to learn your trade and may present further career development opportunities once the apprenticeship has been completed.

**The Right Person**
- Completed year 10
- A genuine interest in a manufacturing/mining career
- A willingness to learn
- The ability to take direction and follow instructions efficiently
