**Job Summary**

We are a Mechanical & Structural engineering company based in Ingleburn NSW, a Member of the Welding Technology Institute of Australia (WTIA), a member of the Australian Industry Group and a member of Australian Steel Industry Group.

Our clients range in the field of Major Construction Projects, Steel manufacturing, Steel mills, Government, Mining & Quarry, and many more.

We are looking for a technically minded individual, ready to get his hands on the tools and has a genuine interest to become trade qualified as a Boilermaker, we also operate some of the most technically advanced manufacturing machines and processes in the country so there is opportunity to gain experience in these cutting edge processes not found elsewhere

**Responsibilities of apprentice boilermaker/welder and Duties**

Primary duties will be to be trained on the job and acquire the basic knowledge and skills required in the attainment of a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade in accordance with the Australian Apprenticeship Training Agreement.

This is a full time position Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities.

The successful applicant will:

- Have strong attention to detail and cares about the quality of what they deliver
- Hardworking and with positive attitude
- Able to confidently communicate to get the job done safely and accurately
- Able to work in a team environment and under high stress situations
- Physical agility and strength to cope with the physical demands of the job
- Have own reliable transport

**Qualifications and Skills of a boilermaker/welder**

School Certificate, Higher School Certificate.

Must be an Australian citizen or permanent residence status.
