**What you will do**:

- Lead the team
- Prepare, monitor and update service programs and budgets
- Provide direction and specialist technical advice for procurement and resourcing
- A mix of civil construction and asset maintenance of minor works. Big focus on team leadership. 70% office based, 30% site.

**About you**:

- Substantial experience in project management, particularly in relation to planning and administration
- Extensive experience in civil infrastructure, specifically road construction, maintenance, design and traffic engineering
- Knowledge of: Budgeting / Tendering and contract administration / Project management and quality assurance principles / Materials testing and management
- Able to provide specialist advise, develop and implement goals and programs
- Preferred: local government experience
