**What’s involved**:
With support and direction from the National Sales Manager, this full time role based in Tasmania is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Sales Leader to drive revenue growth and continuous improvement across the Tasmanian Business Unit.
As the State Sales Manager - Tasmania, your responsibilities include:
Full accountability of delivering the State Revenue Profitability budget through the achievement of sales targets and the management of promotional spend and overheads.
The sale and distribution of our range of products to all licensed premises throughout the North of the State (Launceston, Devonport and surrounding suburbs), with a strong focus on growing our retail accounts and increased exposure in the On-Premise channel.
To lead and develop a high performing Area Manager, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to achieve all Key Performance Indicators.
The management of our business relationship with all key customer groups in the State - Retail and On Premise.
The achievement of Sales and Marketing objectives across all market channels through the execution and implementation of key sales strategic initiatives and activations.
The development and attainment of preferred supplier status with targeted key accounts by employing category management and account management skills to develop market leading business strategies.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**About you**:
You’re an experienced Sales Leader who has strong, existing relationships and are eager to hit the ground running. Given the nature of the role, you must have the drive and organisation skills to work autonomously and meet sales targets.
**We're looking for the following skills and experience**:
At least 3 years wine industry or beverage experience/knowledge.
Exceptional leadership and coaching skills.
Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills.
Well developed territory management and business planning practices.
A positive, solution-seeking attitude with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships at trade level (both retail and on premise accounts).
CRM and Microsoft Office skills.
Current driver’s license.
**Who you will be working with**:
As part of the State Sales Managers team - you will be reporting into the National Sales Manager, who along with the other SSMs in the team, are extremely passionate about growing Brown Family Wine Group and the total wine industry through a culture of collaborative, supportive and sustainable ways of working.
