**Job Summary**:
If you consider yourself a technical expert in commissioning standards, processes and systems and can help Powerlink to maintain an efficient and compliant commissioning program of works, this is the role for you

In this role you will:

- Provide expert testing and commissioning advice to all projects within Powerlink’s program of work.
- Develop, maintain and continually improve the commissioning suit of documents and processes
- Undertake monitoring and assurance services to support commissioning in the project delivery group

**About the role**:

- Ensure consistency and compliance with established commissioning standards, processes and practices
- Mentor and train team members to increase their understanding and technical capability of commissioning practices within a high voltage environment
- Provide advice in the development of commercial and technical specifications to support Powerlink’s outsourcing strategies

**About you**:

- Degree level qualification in Electrical Engineering supported by RPEQ registration.
- Significant experience in commissioning of high voltage transmission infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of high voltage power systems particularly substations, secondary systems (control, metering and protection) and telecommunications networks.
- Ability to develop and lead the implementation of new technologies, processes, tools, including the provision of associated training and mentoring, ideally supported by a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- A drive for continuous process improvement, developing and implementing process improvements
