**The role**:
Our client is an award winning home building organisation who are passionate about their clients and employees.

They are looking for an experienced Audit & Risk Manager to support process improvement and provide independent assurance across the function.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Monitor, maintain, and develop the risk register to ensure risks are being mitigated
- Complete end to end audits by scoping, process walkthroughs, sampling, fieldwork, and testing
- Build and maintain key internal stakeholder relationships as their trusted advisor
- Manage external stakeholders including year end external audit processes
- Open, run and close meetings with stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance
- CA/CPA/CIA/CFE/CISA preferred
- 3 - 5 years experience within Audit or Risk Management
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior stakeholders
- Passion and interest in the building/construction industry
- Experience within a Big 4 accounting firm, preferred by not essential
