Our Grocery, Liquor and Perishable (Frozen/Chilled) teams are currently hiring enthusiastic and motivated warehouse pick packers in our Crestmead Distribution Centre, offering a range of shifts to suit your work/life balance. - Full time, permanent position working Monday - Friday 38 hours, no weekend work - Flexible hours, Choose your schedule to suit your lifestyle. Work a traditional 5 days per week, or a 9-day fortnight, or chose to work your hours over 4 days. - Start times from 3am, 5am/6am/7am, and 12.30pm. - Optional overtime available In our fast-paced environment we work to productivity goals, which measures the speed at which items are collected from storage locations, and we’ll provide training along with a dedicated mentor to help you learn our processes and achieve these goals. The role can be physically demanding and requires you to be on your feet throughout your shift, being comfortable frequently lifting and carrying bulky items (up to 20kg) plus standing for extended periods of time is important. Great Now let’s dive into the role. **What you’ll do**: - Picking pallets of stock for customers using non-licensed material handling equipment such as ride on electric pallet jacks, while utilising voice pick technology. - Manually loading and unloading boxes up to 20kg. - Working efficiently to complete daily order quotas. - Maintain cleanliness of warehouse **What you bring**: - A positive, can-do attitude - Strong teamwork and effective communication skills - Grit, determination, and adaptability in an evolving retail landscape - Enjoyment of working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment - Previous experience in a physically demanding role - Awareness of safety and the importance of maintaining a safe, productive work environment - A current, valid driver’s license - A forklift license with high reach experience is desirable but not essential.
