**About the Role**
The High Performance Sporting Event Development Officer is responsible for Stakeholder Management and Development of the High-Performance Sports vision of West Australia working directly with State Sporting Associations and the key industry partners DLGSC, WAIS and SportWest.
This position will focus on working with State Sporting Associations to develop them into a position to enrich High Performance Sport opportunities for targeted sports including the generation of new and improved procurement of State, national, and international events into VenuesWest venues.
Fostering relationships with these key stakeholders, the role will work to attract, secure and retain targeted sporting events including working to procure funding where available through bodies such as tourism WA and DLGSCI to bring events that require funding to fruition.
Whilst the position will be based at HBF Stadium in Mount Claremont, mobility will be required between the portfolio of facilities on a regular basis.
