**Client**:
Our client is an Engineering company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, construction, and maintenance services to many diverse industries

**You the Mechanical Fitter**:
Due to the high workload, they require a full-time Mechanical Fitter at their site on the Northern Beaches.

This position will involve mainly workshop-based fitting, fault finding & repair with some occasional site visits. Previous Fitters have come from a heavy machining, oil & gas, maritime, slurry / centrifugal pump, or conveyor background.
**Perfect for someone located on the beaches.**
- Australian / New Zealand TAFE trade qualification OR an overseas HND / HNC equivalent.
- 5 years of Mechanical Fitting experience.
- At least 5 years of medium to heavy engineering experience.
- Excellent hydraulic and pneumatic components knowledge.
- Preferred experience dismantling and assembling industrial equipment, large Gearboxes, large Fans / Blowers, or similar.
- Experience working with and assisting with QA / QC inspection teams
- Forklift License (preferred) / White card.
- Excellent communication and positive approach to work
- No sponsorship, applicants must be an Australian citizen or a permanent residency
