Mechanical Fitters – Fixed Plant Maintenance

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will:

  • Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance across processing plant assets: crushers, feeders, conveyors, screens, chutes, bins, pumps, valves and associated infrastructure
  • Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and undertake repairs to minimize downtime
  • Carry out rebuilds and servicing on pumps, maintain piping/valves, and troubleshoot hydraulic and lubrication systems
  • Align shafts, replace couplings and bearings, and conduct other general mechanical repairs as required
  • Participate in safety programs performing JHAs, Take 5's, and upholding WHS and site safety requirements
  • Handle administrative CMMS duties including work order management, maintenance record-keeping, and parts requisitioning
  • Support shutdowns, commissioning, and ongoing reliability improvement projects
