Apprentice Mechanical Tradesperson

**Summary**:
The purpose of this position is to service and maintain large engines and compression equipment. You will be required to carry out inspections, serving and repairs in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and Occupational Health and Safety standards. You will also perform major overhauls and reconditioning of engines and ancillary components.

**About the opportunity**
This position offers the opportunity to gain a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Plant Mechanic), earn while you learn. Enerflex’s Apprenticeship Program offers practical, on-the-job experience that will lead to a nationally recognised qualification. You’ll be working with a leading service provider within the oil and gas industry and have the opportunity to learn from some of the best Technicians in the industry.

**Requirements**:
- Good understanding of safety in the workplace
- Workshop/automotive experience (desirable)
- Successful completion of Year 12 (preferred)
- Hold a current manual driver’s licence (preferred)
