**About the Opportunity**

Based at South Brisbane, we are seeking a highly motivated, mechanically minded and safety aware person, who has a genuine interest in becoming a mechanical tradesperson.

Working within a plant maintenance team we will provide a wide range of training opportunities.

Your responsibilities will involve diagnostics, problem solving and maintenance on a variety of packaging and processing machines.

A positive, enthusiastic nature and an ability to follow directions is considered essential.

This is a perfect opportunity to learn an engineering trade in a professional challenging and fast paced, FMCG environment. To be considered you will need the following:

- A good mechanical aptitude
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Be a committed and motivated individual
- Enthusiastic, “can-do” attitude
- A good pass in at least year 10
- Good presentation
- Eager to learn an engineering trade
- Must be reliable and punctual
