Major Responsibilities
- Provide proactive / unsolicited consultation, interpretation, and education of complex financial matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business decisions
- Work across organization boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve plant, country, regional, and/or LBS objectives
- Manage the month-end process including preparation of Flash reporting
- Management of the Standard costs and integrity of all costing and related reporting
- Provide detailed analysis of COGS including Recoveries, Purchase Price Variance, Material usage, stock obsolescence etc; communicate explanations to Finance Director and site management with recommended actions
- Prepare monthly financial forecasts and Budget for BU
- Ensure CSAQ / SOX control standards are achieved for Finance
- Support Purchase Requisition Review and CAR
- Reconcile Balance Sheet, manage Fixed Asset register and stock take (financial aspects)
- Ensure monthly, quarterly & annual compliance requirements are achieved
- Ensure all GST reports are submitted to deadlines
Required Skills/Experience
- 7-10 years of experience in similar positions
- Knowledge of Standard costing in Manufacturing environment
- Strong business Partnering skills with excellent analytical and proven problem solving
- Proven ability to implement a programme of continuous process improvement
- Demonstrated experience of working and communicating effectively in a complex environment
- Must demonstrate the highest standards of personal and professional integrity and character and promote ethical business behaviour throughout the organization
- Demonstrated proficiency with SAP or Oracle ERP preferred
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system is strongly preferred
- Knowledge & experience of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)

Education List of Education, Certifications, Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA/CA qualified with at least 10 years’ experience in senior finance role within a manufacturing environment.
Travel % of Travel, include approximate overnight stays per week
- Travel expectations within this role are mínimal
