**What is TEI?**
The NSW Targeted Earlier Intervention (TEI) program operates within communities facing social and economic challenges, including disadvantage, isolation, and limited access to support services. The TEI program has two streams: Community Strengthening initiatives which aim to empower communities, and build social capital, through providing Community Centers and Aboriginal Community Development. _This role_ focuses on Wellbeing and Safety interventions which build on and compliment the outcomes of Community Strengthening to intervene early at an individual or household level with Targeted Support focused on engagement, case management and group work interventions to support children to increase safety and meet their developmental milestones in the context of their families.
**Where does Intereach deliver TEI Wellbeing and Safety?**
TEI Targeted Support services are funded to be delivered by Intereach in the Murrumbidgee region of NSW covering Berrigan, Lockhart, Edward River, Murray River, Federation, Greater Hume, Hay, Murrumbidgee, and Wagga Wagga LGA’s. This role will work in collaboration with two other team members to engage children, young people and families living within the eastern half of the service area.
The Child Family and Community Worker - Targeted Support is a key service delivery position responsible for intake, assessment, case management, peer support and evidence based groupwork in the Targeted Earlier Intervention (TEI) Program, delivering high-quality services and activities with parents and children.
**About the Role**:
The position will successfully implement the TEI program in local communities, support community stakeholders and leaders, provide updates on local program performance and outcomes, and contribute to the positive impact Intereach makes in our communities.
This position requires community connectedness, case management and groupwork skills, working with cultural diversity, trauma informed practice and a deep understanding of the unique challenges of parents and children to deliver successful and impactful programs.
We are looking for a team member based in Corowa, Albury, or Wagga Wagga who is passionate about working with children, young people and their parents.
This role is permanent part time 30.2 hours per week.
This role has been classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award as a Level 4.1 with an annual starting salary of $85,126.08 (Pro rata) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging.
