A central agency recruiting an APS5 Secretariat Officer.

**Your new company**
This Government Agency is committed to improving the lives of all people. This Agency work closely with numerous communities across Australia to ensure policies, programs and services address each communities’ unique needs. You will be working in a team that is independent of Government.

**Your new role**
As a Secretariat within this small team you will be working under two APS6’s and an EL1. Within this role you will be supporting the team through duties included but not limited to:

- Assisting with procurement processes
- Undertake travel planning
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Financial tracking
- Statistical analysis and reporting
- Event planning
- Invoice processing
- Take meeting notes during committee meetings

**What you'll need to succeed**

You must clearly demonstrate your flexibility and adaptability while keeping calm under pressure. You must be an Australia citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a Baseline Personnel Security Clearance.

**What you'll get in return**
This is an exciting role with an attractive hourly rate. After an initial 6-month contract there is an extension option and growth opportunities within the Agency.
