Connect Resources is an industry leading brand in civil construction in the WA and NSW market, supplying labour hire to major civil contractors such as Georgiou, Downer and CPB Contractors. Our office is centrally located in South Brisbane, within a 2 minute walk to South Bank Station.

This role will be client focused where you will be responsible for talent mapping for future assignments, regularly communicating with contractors and clients while developing a network of contacts through referrals.

The Business Development role will also involve:

- Working directly with the Managing Director who will teach you how to build a reputation and network like them
- Contributing to the team’s success through coming up with new ideas, working together and supporting each other
- Build strong client relationships through understanding their recruitment needs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market knowledge

We ask that you have:

- 2 years+ experience either on a construction site, office experience in civil construction, or a degree / relevant TAFE qualification such as Business, Marketing or Construction
- Confident communication skills with an interest in connecting with people
- Eagerness to learn about an industry in depth
