To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a **Wells Console Operator **to join our team on a twelve-month contract.

**The Role**
**Reporting to Control Room Lead**, the purpose of this position is to operate safely and efficiently CSG Wells in the Surat Basin from the Brisbane-based Central Control Room.

This is a Brisbane based contract position and may require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

In addition you will:

- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Perform remote monitoring, operation and optimisation of CSG wells.
- Perform well state changes including start up, shutdown, commissioning, decommissioning, testing and troubleshooting of new and work over wells.
- Provide detailed wells support to the other Control Room Operators, Surveillance and Field Operators.
- Ensure continuous improvement of control room operating procedures and systems are maintained.

**About You**
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety.

**To be successful in the role, you will have**:

- Certificate or Diploma in Process Plant Operation
- Proven experience in the operation of a complex continuous process plant and process control of well field assets.
- Knowledge of situational awareness, alarm management and operations monitoring of process control systems.
- Understanding of process plant documentation, operating philosophies and procedures, cause and effect matrices and process safety.
- Knowledge of mechanical and process equipment operations, performance and thermodynamics.
