We are very proud of everything we do in support of both the Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms as we all work together towards our purpose in “Building A Future We Can All Trust". We are expanding our Protected Vehicles Technical and Engineering team in Bendigo and we are keen to hear from passionate and experienced Team Facilitator, Machining and Prototype who would like to be a part our growth journey. You will enjoy a new career challenge as you support a variety of projects in support of Protected Military Vehicles, across both the Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms which offers you a truly unique opportunity to leverage your valuable technical skills as part of a truly global organisation. Supported by passionate leaders, driven by a strong team culture and backed up with all the resources to succeed, you will be supported with options for further training, ongoing professional development and future pathways that are available within an organisation that is full of opportunity and driven by our people. **How About You?** The Team Facilitator is responsible for managing day-to-day production and manufacturing activities in the machining and prototype workshop. Some of the required and desired skills for this role are listed below: Essential Experience - Fitter & Machinist cert III qualified with relevant experience - Demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess & develop employee skills. - Demonstrated ability to work as a member of an integrated team. - Strong analytical and decision making skills. - Highly motivated & results orientated self-driven. - Work place risk assessment skills. - Ability to develop tooling concepts to aid/ improve manufacturability. - Ability to coach, mentor, engage and influence people. - Ability to act and decide promptly within the Companies best interest. **Good to Know**: As part of our standard process you will complete police, medical, employment and reference checks. Thales also complies with current public health orders in place and as such you may be requested to provide your COVID-19 vaccination record.
