Fitter & Turner

McCullochs are seeking a dynamic and experienced trade qualified Fitter and Turner to join our Machine Shop team.

This is a permanent full-time role open to Australian residents.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:

• General machining on manual center lathes, turret and universal milling machines and surface grinders
• Interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics and dimensional tolerancing standards
• Ability to understand, interpret and apply quality control methods and techniques

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and licences:

• Relevant trade qualifications
• A current driver's licence
• A current forklift licence

McCullochs Machine Shop forms an integral part of our Service Department, performing not only production-based work in support of our manufactured products but also traditional jobbing-based repair, remanufacture and modification machining activities. Working on a diverse range of components from all manner of equipment, the successful candidate will enjoy the opportunity to apply their trade skills across a broad spectrum of machined product.

Along with previously mentioned attributes, experience programming CNC machines and/or manufacturing hydraulic cylinder components will be highly regarded.
