We have an exciting opportunity to join the Opal team as our Opal Bags Solutions site in Thomastown is currently looking to for new machine operators/ production line operators to join the team on the day shift (7:30am to 3:35pm) and the afternoon shift (3:30pm to 11:35pm).

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

- Operate machinery (including printers) in a safe manner
- Maintain a clean and well organised workspace
- Communicate with other team members and team leaders
- Work efficiently to achieve production targets
- Perform quality checks
- Uphold safety standards

- Experience in running a high-speed production line (this is a requirement for the role)
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferable
- Experience working with fibre industries (such as food packaging or paper) would be viewed favourably, but is not required
- Have a strong work ethic and the willingness to learn
- Good communication skills & ability to follow instructions
- A positive team player, with a good eye for detail
