Fin is looking for a night shift Render & Data Wrangler to support the rendering process of our productions by monitoring the Render Farm as well as downloading and ingesting new data into our system and uploading and sending client deliveries. This position requires working independently outside our standard business hours, it is a great position for those interested in a technical-track position in the VFX industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor, manage and maintain the ability of the Render Farm to function at its maximum.
- Monitor, manage and audit renders for overnight deliveries.
- Maintain, track rendering priorities and resources allocations.
- Initiate data movement to allocate disk space in an efficient manner.
- Downloading and ingesting data received from clients.
- Uploading and sending client deliveries when needed.
- Help and support the artists with requests and errors.
- Monitor infrastructure (servers) and identify problems.
- Manage studio emergency calls outside of regular hours.
- Work night shifts (6pm - 2am).

**Requirements**:

- High proficiency working with Windows and Python.
- Knowledge of queuing systems, scheduling algorithms, Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Redshift and other VFX industry tools a plus.
- Previous experience or knowledge in data management and/or IT a plus.
- Flexible with working hours, comfortable with night shifts (6pm - 2am).
- Comfortable with providing support outside standard business hours.
- Self-driven, proactive and reliable with a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to work in a fast paced atmosphere.
- Ability to prioritise work, perform multiple tasks and work under time constraints.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
