**HEAD OF CIRRICULUM**

**About the Position**:
Working with other Curriculum Mentors and Curriculum Leads, you will support, mentor and lead the professional learning and development of the Educational Leaders. You will also work closely with Centre Leadership Teams to drive quality improvement in both programs and practice**.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Proactively drive and contribute innovatively to the success and implementation of curriculum priorities through working in a focused, collaborative partnership with the Quality and Curriculum and Network teams
- Advocate and lead initiatives through providing support for centre teams through in-centre visits, mentoring, role-modelling, guidance and empowering teams to build their capacity.
- Contribute to and deliver strategic direction, tools, resources, professional learning and support for centre teams which drive improvements.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- University degree in Early Childhood education preferred
- Sound experience in the Early Childhood sector, preferably in a leadership or mentoring role (5+ years)
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework

**Skills**:

- Mentoring, coaching and role-modelling with the ability to inspire others.
- Strong pedagogical understanding and practice
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills which support engagement, influencing others and working in partnerships.
