Southern Truck Centre Pty Ltd is seeking to appoint 3rd year Apprentices. The role will be based at the Dealership located in Unanderra.

Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, you will be part of a dynamic, fast paced and professional workshop team and will have the opportunity to enjoy a long and fulfilling career with our company.

To be eligible for this apprenticeship you need to be well-presented, hardworking, punctual and have a good mechanical aptitude. You must be dedicated, willing to undergo formal as well as on the job training and commit to an apprenticeship.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Assist workshop staff to ensure duties are being carried out efficiently and accurately
- Assist workshop staff with preventative workshop maintenance
- Attend and participate in all classes at an approved TAFE college as required in accordance with TAFE policies and regulations
- Attend the high-tech VOLVO/MACK Training Centre for further training advancement
- Attend and complete relevant on‐the‐job training as required
- Work towards achieving becoming a qualified Technician and be part of the future.

- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Strong verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for the automotive industry
- Right attitude essential
