Auto Electrical Apprentice

What you'll be doing…

You will complete a Certificate III - Auto Electrical qualification over 48 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Zeal Futures and host employer, Buckley's Plant Maintenance.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist tradespeople in diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical systems.
• Learn to install and service wiring, batteries, alternators, starter motors, and lighting systems.
• Support the installation of accessories such as radios, GPS units, air-conditioning controls, cameras, and alarms.
• Gain experience working with heavy vehicle and mobile plant electrical systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and follow correct workshop safely procedures.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:

• Commitment to both on and off the job training
• Demonstrated interest in the auto electrical trade
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills with enthusiam
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Safety conscious
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Mandatory Requirements

• White Card
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment including audiometry
