Their services include surveys, sampling and analysis, preparation of policies and procedures, and project management of asbestos removal works. They have offices and NATA accredited laboratories in Perth (head office), Brisbane and Sydney with the role on offer based out of the Brisbane office.

Our Client is a fully encompassing environmental consultancy that requires the services of a licensed Asbestos Assessor. Their services include surveys, sampling and analysis, preparation of policies and procedures, and project management of asbestos removal works. They have offices and NATA accredited laboratories in Perth (head office), Brisbane and Sydney with the role on offer based out of the Brisbane office.

**The main duties responsibilities include**:

- Completion of asbestos and hazardous materials surveys
- Undertaking re-inspections and updating asbestos registers and management plans
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with documented procedures and comply with the ISO Quality Management System
- Writing of technical asbestos survey reports and Data uploading. Management of removal contractors both from the desktop and in the field
- Able to demonstrate previous team management experience
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Familiar with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to work well within a team but have confidence and initiative to work with mínimal supervision
- Good interpersonal skills
- A team player who can work on own initiative and prioritise their own workload
- Ideally you will be self motivated, flexible and willing to travel on an ad hoc basis where required

**Essential Skills / Quals -**
- A class A Asbestos Assessors license (or preparedness to get one)
- Undertaking of Asbestos / HAZMAT survey's
- Respirable (asbestos) air monitoring
- Fibre counting (preferably NATA accredited)
- Clearance inspections

The role primarily includes working on sites within the Queensland market, but does include works across all states where required.
