**Job tasks and responsibilities**

Working alongside industry leaders in Occupational Hygiene and Hazardous Materials, Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Providing technical advice on Hazardous Materials and Occupational Hygiene issues.
- Conducting Asbestos/HAZMAT Surveys and removal.
- Asbestos airborne fiber monitoring & fiber counting.
- Asbestos Bulk Sample Identification.
- Preparation of Technical Reports.
- Regional travel will be required.

**Skills and experience**

To be successful in this role, you ideally will have:

- Qualification in Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Science or a related field is advantageous, but not essential.
- Hazmat industry experience or exposure through study is advantageous, but not essential.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Australian Citizenship or rights to work in Australia.
- You will have keen interest in OHHM and be driven to continue ongoing learning and development where SLR will support training to support your progression.
- Experienced applicants will be considered, but will be expected to be a current Licensed Asbestos Assessor
